The one where I go to BC Idol!

To celebrate the end of elections the school put on BC idol. It was so much fun. Ben and Chad Truman came up to be our opening act. They were so good and they're in a contest right now. Go listen to their song and then vote. My Idol, Mark Ashley. He wrote the song he sang and he sounded amazing. These are the most of the other contestants. Heinrich, the one on the top right, won the thing. And the ones on the bottom right are brother and sister. And the brother is in my accounting class.

The one with a chick flick review!

So my gramie and I watch some tv, okay a lot, when I go up there on the weekends. And because this is America we see a lot of commercials for movies coming out and we always say something to this effect: "that look's really good, i wanna see it!" But do we? the answer was no until yesterday. We went to see he's just no that into you, so good-loved it! It was really fun to see how all the characters were interrelated. You can't help but fall in love with all of them, and not to mention it's a GREAT cast. I definitely recommend this to everyone! Can't wait to get the soundtrack, and movie! [great present idea for any occasion]

The one when the bear has a name

The winner is Sean Farris, who technically didn't comment but did talk to me in person. Amelia is his daughter's name. Jane comes from Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. Cause I feel like I have a lot in common with the eldest bennet sister and I wish I had someone who I really trusted who could be my elizabeth.

let the learning begin...

1. I absolutely despise clean checks!I really need a car, the UTA pass is just not enough, Mom!!!(with pleading eyes)
2. Becca and I might not be friends forever, and that's a way long story
3. Sean is a really great listener
4. I like to pack early, I've already started packing for my trip home[well the stuff i'm gonna leave here at least)
5. Does not want to live at the Plaza next fall, I will have an apartment close to campus and maybe a car [Dad!!! you know you want your daughter to be taken care of!]
6. I have a lot more things in my quote box coming home than I did coming but it now includes things I want to scrapbook and letters from an old EFY counselor and family
7. I really want a calling in young womens this summer. I think it would be so much fun!
8. I, Ellie Murphy, will start going to my ward every week! [this is huge cause I hate my singles ward-it sucks and relief society is just depressing]
9. I can have fun and let go even when thing are hurting
10. The Truman Brothers from BYU are amazingly gorgeous and sound amazing too

The one when I am sick!

I feel bad I haven't updated in a couple of days and I probably won't do anything blog worthy for a couple more days either. I have the sniffles and am blowing my nose every five seconds. My head hurts and my lips are cracking and I can't sleep so...I will be in bed as much as possible because this finicky weather is helping any.

The one where I start something new

I read on one of my facebook friend's blog something I want to start. Each week she writes 10 things she has learned. I am going to try really hard to do it, and I want you to call me on it when I don't do it.

1. Change can get easier
2. I can ask a guy to do something, I just need to use the guts God gave me
3. Friends will come and go
4. I am so lucky to have people that aren't family that care about me, Brother Adrian, Matt Tiddle and President Richards
5. God has a plan and he'll correct me
6. Valentines Day doesn't have to be horrible
7. I really do love grey's anatomy and private practice, not really new just re-realized
8. Accounting relaxes me
9. I would love to be a CBP officer
10. I miss my family and cully more than anything!

The one where he asks, everytime he sees me

I don't like change, at all. It's one thing that has always been hard for me, when it comes around I cry. When I moved to Georgia I cried. When I moved back to Utah and my mom left, I cried. When it was announced that President Richards would be taking President Woodhouse's job this semester I cried. I had gotten to know President Woodhouse and the amazing man he is. When I sang for a faculty luncheon here at the school I cried because of the change, President Richards saw me and asked if I was okay. I told him how hard change was for me and since then he has always asked me if there has been any change. Every time, no matter if it's just in passing. Things have changed a lot this week already. President Richards was the speaker in devotional this week and I really enjoyed his talk, after I went up to thank him and he asked. I said it's been hard but I'm trying to get it through me (a phrase that was introduced to me by my favorite professor of all time-Brother Adrian). He said everything will work out when God wants it to(or at least that's what I heard). President Richards is possibly one the greatest men to walk the earth today. Even here at the BC where he has about 1,400 students under his care he knows me. He cares about me and knows my name. He reminds me that my Heavenly Father knows my name, cares about me and loves me. That's one thing that always amazes me, he has all these children to know and care about and I don't get left out. I don't get pushed aside for someone else, I get time too.

See this cute bear in front of you? Yes the cute little girl bear, well she needs a name. I already have her but I'm changing her name, do to unforeseen circumstances. So here are the rules...

1-it must be a girls name

2-it can not be my name or your name

Today is hard. Not everyday hard, today is my brother's birthday! I sure miss Nathan, I can't wait to see him again I have only, what? 60 years max? yes i did steal the layout from my mom, but I don't have any digital pictures of him.
