The one where I cook the most amazing food ever!

Remember when I raved about the venezuelan food that sister hanna cooked us and was amazing? Well I went over tuesday and got to learn how to make it with my brothers, the one catch? my brothers had to be there too. I now know how to make all that amazing food! I am so freaking excited! I can't wait to eat it again!

The one where I almost feel bad

So last night when my dad came home from work I filled him in on the saga. In case you didn't know my dad is so a big ol' papa bear and if you mess with his cub, namely me, you're gonna get it. He said I need the name of the person you talked to and I need the number I need to call. I got it for him and gave it to him. He called today and talked to someone and guess what? I have a room! Now it only took them a month to get it for me! My dad said something about getting out papers to me by the end of the week, I thought I was done filling out papers-I sent in the only two things they had females living at the inn fill out together. Hopefully this is almost over. But tomorrow I have to call the help desk to find out how to get a freaking groupwise email. I emailed the person who told me I needed one to find out what it was cause no one tells you these things, i swear they expect you to know it all cause I searched on the website for forever and a day and could not find anything unless it was related to BYU Law-but I digress-and this is what she said "I believe the NET ID and password from BeSmart.com is the one you'll use. Once that NET ID is established a groupwise account is set up for you. If you have further questions, please contact our Help Desk at 801-524-8119." What does that do me? So I have to call 'the Help Desk' tomorrow and find out how to get one cause I want to be done, like yesterday!

The one where I feel guitly

My mom did it and then sister swain did it, I commented on theirs and then felt bad cause I didn't follow step two so I had to do it! 1. The one where I am not happy, so not happy!

Housing is not getting a christmas present from me no way, I repeat NO WAY! So if you haven't heard the saga of me and the housing office for LDSBC let me clue you in.

• First they don't make it clear what you need to send in when and how much you have to send in with it.
• Second they have you print something that is supposed to be on a 8.5 x 14 size sheet of paper, but do they tell you that? nope! AND who in the hail has legal size sheets of paper just sitting around? Because I would like to know!
• Third, you print of the paper think you have it all filled out but you don't so you don't don't sign where you are supposed to because you don't see it
• Fourth so they call your house and say you need to send it in again, or you can fax it, with a signature, JUST the signature so you get the lady who your mom nannys for to fax it in at work for you and you assume it's gotten there
• Fifth a week or so later you get another call saying they haven't received and ask how you sent it in and then ask you to mail it in so you do, the very next day
• Sixth you call today and ask if they have gotten it they say no so you tell them where they are coming from and they reply with a you fax it in, and i'll stand right here until I get it(I think she was mocking me)
• Seventh you beg your mom for the truck key and drive to your dad's office and have him fax the paper with your signature and your mom's signature, cause I'm still not 18. He faxes it, you call and ask if she's gotten it she says we have a small problem
• Eighth she says well you didn't sign the first one and you didn't fill out the second one. So I need to talk to my manager and i'll call you back tomorrow, i hold it together on the fine and say sure, that sounds great

What is so hard about getting one sheet of freaking paper! And I wish someone would just tell me how to get a freaking groupwise email cause I have to have it for a stupid readiness test I have to take on the third!

The one where riley and i yell MOUSE!!

Thats right, there is a mouse in my house! I was on the Mac upstairs in the office slash guest room checking my facebook and I saw this huge dark thing. I turned around and asked riley if she saw it and she said no. I tried to look again and didn't see until a few minutes later, it was running out of the room! Riley and I freaked out! We tried calling the house, my dad's cell, my mom's cell with no avail until I tried my dad's cell again and my mom picked up! And what did she say when I told her, get a cat. I can't believe how supportive she is! Riley and I ran into will's room and made him get me shoes and then we got the cat and everything we would need to lock ourselves up in wills room. We have 10+ dvds, candy, cherrios, water, a fan, my laptop, riley's belongings, my purse, my cell phone(for emergency reasons). I think we are covered for quite awhile!!

The one where I teach primary!

Well, I was only substituting but I LOVED it! I wish I could teach primary all the time! And my lesson was def in the top 10 of the best lessons to teach, I had Helman and the two thousand stripling warriors! I drew this picture on the board.

and katie even said I did a really good job, and if you didn't already know I love her family and any compliment from makes me feel really good! I took in my brother's poster...and on the back I had this game

We played the game twice and when they won they got this cute little picture and underneath it said "I can be a stripling warrior too!"

We played the game twice and then decided to draw on the chalkboard. Austin and Katie erased all the buildings but kept my warriors. They drew warriors to go along with mine.

The one where I love tip junkie!

When I get online I usually check my facebook, my gmail, my live email, and then go to my blog. When I get to my blog I check for comments and then start going down the side to check my faves and my family. When I got down to tip junkie I saw some giveaways! Who doesn't like giveaways? I saw this one for a way cool backpack from landsend. The contest is from What's that smell? And I can't wait to add them to my faves!

The one where things start to get scary!

I leave in exactly four weeks! AHHHH!!! It's starting to freak me out. I'll be all on my own, I won't have to answer to anybody. I can do what I want when I want, I could even skip class for no reason at all-which i probably won't but still. I remember the day I cut my hair off when I was two, I wasn't thinking about college then. I wasn't thinking of having my own two year-old one day and having her do the same thing. But the real thing making me scared is packing. If you have ever traveled with me or stayed with me and seen my suitcase you know I def over pack. I am really trying to only pack the stuff I need to. But it's the i'll be 1,976 miles away, yes i mapquested it, and what if i need it it will take forever to get to me if my mom has to mail it. I don't want to leave anything I am going to need.

The one where my mom joins the blogging world

So when my brothers started blogs awhile ago I told my mom she should get one. She said "no way, never!" When we went to NJ my dad said he wanted to get one. So when I was VSU for the YSA confernce my parents got one. *you can click on their pictures and it will take you to their blog

The one where I'm already looking forward to a pink christmas

So I was looking around at blogs, saw sister swains and this pink christmas thing. It's so cool! This year they are sponsoring a family that has immigrated from africa that really needs our help, click on the graphic to read their story.
